For over 150 years, Handtmann has been synonymous with metal casting of the highest quality. What began as a copper smithy in 1873 has developed into a global technology company with five business divisions.

Today, the metal casting plant is a central pillar as the largest family-run aluminum foundry in Europe. Our history is characterized by progress and responsibility.

As early as 1950, we set our sights on the future and focused on aluminum casting. Starting with sand casting, we have set new standards with each generation. From industrial gravity die casting and high pressure die casting to megacasting and future semi-solid technologies.

Today, we develop not only cast parts, but complete system solutions for the automotive industry.
